Taft) Laying of cornerstone at 12. Lunch with Pres. Wool. Alumnae meeting at 2. Alumnae Tea at 4. Then calls & back. Love M."

At last, sun is out, or [...] for we are waiting now for curtain to go up on play - "A Thousand Years Ago" - We have had a strenuous day - Alumnae meeting - Alumnae luncheon - Grove. Ivy-step exercises - [...] have been beautiful - I don't feel one day older than I did in college - Some of the girls have aged, some are the same. Hope to see you [...] before I go back. Ruth."

Divided back, postmarked with a Clark University 75th Anniversary postmark on Jun 20, 1962 in Worcester, MA. "I'm up here for my 55th college reunion. Our room overlooks this little pond, so that we go to sleep with a frog chorus and awake with the songs of birds. Harriet E. Roe (written at college) (I had my finger on the wrong name. Sorry!)" A reference to the addressing of the card, which had a large strike-out.

The campus & buildings [...] all look more beautiful than ever and it was so good to see the girls again. Alice B."

No ZIP code in the Boston address implies a publishing date that is before 1963. "November 1st Again many thanks on behalf of '25 for your Alumnae Fund pledge. As ever, Emily Barrows Weber" Addressed to Margaret A. Fleming.

Mount Holyoke College Gates
front An untitled horizontal sepia of the Field Gate. This is a unique shot; unlike the others, which were taken from the street, looking in toward the campus through the gate, this photo is taken from the campus and looking out into the street, which makes the South Hadley Center School visible.
back Divided back, postmarked in January 1993 in Brooklyn NY. "Mount Holyoke College Gates South Hadley Center School built 1868" Elite Printing Co., So. Hadley, MA. Yes, this one was written out to me! "Dear Donna: Thought of your interest in historic postcards when the S. H. historical society was selling this. Hope all is well. Val Barr finally got me to join the world of email! (I've told Sheree and Sarah) robrtsnn@acfcluster.nyu.edu. Will I see you at reunion? My 15th, your 5th or are we off cycle? Nancy Robertson." Well, she was half right; she's class of 1978, and I'm class of 1983, so it was her 15th and my 10th. And yes, I went! I never miss a reunion!
