The Sophronia Fisher Letters

[Letter]

History

These remarkably detailed letters were written by Sophronia Fisher 1851 to her family while she was at the Seminary. She gave many details about people, events, and illnesses at the school, and her letters are a joy to read. She mentions wearing braces and glasses, which were unusual for that time period.
