Dear Mom & Dad,

Thanks so much for the blouse. It really is cute. I wore it on Valentine's day. Aunt Hattie sent some cookies.

Glad we got Nancy Nutting's affairs straightened out. I liked those letters every other day.

I wrote to Mr. Rose yesterday & got a letter from Nancy Savage in the same mail. I was quite surprised as I definitely turned down her first offer. Smit is the senior at Oberlin who was head of the waterfront last year. I asked Jo & they don't wear uniforms at Chateaugay.

The skiing last weekend was really great. We went to Hogback Saturday & Mt. Snow Sunday. Sunday it was -4° & there was a stiff wind so we left at 2 after about 4 hrs of skiing. Also Philip wanted to get started back. His girl is very nice. Graduated from Wellesley 4 yrs ago & is now teaching 6th grade in Philly.

Snow Ball is this Saturday & our dates are arriving from R.P.I. Friday night. Since we couldn't get rooms for them we'll have to board them at Amherst but that will save us $5. However, I'm going to have to invest in a pair of black flats (shoes) & all in all, it will be an expensive weekend. Our dorm is having a house dance Saturday afternoon to raise money. Should be fun. I'm working on the ticket committee.

A Mr. Carter from NAACP spoke here last night on "Desegregation in Education." Very interesting.

That's about all - Edgy has to go home again next week for her tooth. It's still bothering her. Must be expensive too.

Love,
Liz

Spring vacation is March 23rd - April 4th.
