Saturday

Dear Mom & Dad,

Classes ended Thursday & exams started today. My first is math on Monday afternoon followed by English Comp. Tuesday A.M. German comes Friday morning and Art an[d] Psych the next Tuesday & Wed. Actually, it's a great schedule. I can take the studying at a more leisurely pace.

The trip down to Edgy's has fallen through. I would have had to come back Sunday night to satisfy the Dean & 3 days just didn't seem worth $20 transportation. Edgy is leaving Tuesday noon so she'll have almost a week home. And she's really earned it! She had Spanish & Chem exams - both today & is practically a nervous wreck tonight. Her two worst - she's right on the borderline in both. She also has Math Monday & English Tuesday so will be ready to go home.

Betty Koch & I went out Wed. night with some fellows from Holy Cross. We'll probably never see them again but it sure was fun.

Thursday night we took the new class officers to supper at the C.I. [College Inn] I'm officially through as treasurer except for my report.

I talked with Nan Holton & she may ride home with us. I'm not sure just why she's staying. By the way - do I introduce Frances as Dr. Havens or Miss Havens?

I've been playing more tennis lately - one of the benefits of my good exam schedule. We have a doubles game scheduled for 7:30 tomorrow A.M. It's the best time - before it gets hot.

I'm setting "paid bells" tonight not a bad job although 7-12 is a long time to sit. Still - you meet some interesting people.

See you soon.

Love to all,
Liz
