Dear Mom & Dad,

Again - just a quick note. Classes ended today but I still have 2 papers to write & several hundred pages to read before I start studying for exams. Thank heavens they are spread out this time - one Wed, one Fri, & o two the last Tuesday. Today was sort of sad - I'm sure going to miss that description class as I really enjoyed it - Also history. As for physiology - well - we got blue books back today & as I got a 4 on that one & 5 on the previous one, I shall be very, very lucky if I can keep my former 3 for the course. The only part of that course that has held any interest for me at all was the special independent project that everyone has been doing the past two weeks. I did blood counts & it was great to be able to work on your own instead of in an organized lab. It's really strange because I enjoyed that type of course so much in Jr. High & high school.

The Lake George canoe trip was great fun. Each outing club trip seems to be better than the last. We managed to get on the wrong road & be 1/2 hr. late coming back but even that couldn't put a damper on the weekend. I shall probably be campused again but I wouldn't be going anywhere during exams anyway.

My Yallie friend invited me to go skiing at Mt. Washington June 1 - June 8 but in view of your plans to come up & also my table waiting obligation I declined. I do hope he won't be discouraged & decide I'm not worth risking another invitation as I would like to see him again.

I heard several days ago that I made Glee Club & have been pressed into immediate service - singing at the Commencement concert - Sat. June 2nd.

Also heard that I passed canoe instructors course with a 2+. Wish I could trade this grade for the one I got in physiology.

The college never sent me a letter about the tuition increase. The parents are the only ones who got that news in writing - we just heard it via the grapevine.

Heard from Aaron yesterday & he still needs 2 counselors. He sounded slightly frantic but I couldn't find anyone around here he might be interested in. No mention of when camp begins.

Heard from Nan that Dick Lounsbury is pinned again. Also Mary Anne thought Pat might have gotten pinned last weekend but hadn't heard definitely.

Thanks for the $10. The blazers haven't come & I don't know when they will but I can sure use it. I don't think I'll need any more money since you'll be coming up. What are your plans for then? I'll be free to leave anytime after about 2 P.M. & will try to have everything packed so we can get right off.

This letter has run away with me. It was going to be so short but there is so much to say.

Looking forward to seeing you all June 3rd. Is Tom coming up? Don't worry about my exams - I'm planning to put in quite a bit of time studying.

Love,
Liz

P.S.
Next time you go to Nellie's can you take along a pen? Pencil (especially hard pencil) is rather hard on the eyes. But a letter in pencil is better than none at all!
