Dear Mom & Dad,

Thought you might appreciate something in the mailbox other than postcards so here's a rather brief letter.

Strangely enough, I'm finding enough to do to occupy my spare time. Show is improving by leaps & bounds - Rehearsals every night of course - but only a week & a half more. So glad you are all coming & I just may be able to swing another extra ticket without pulling too many strings - I hope!

Got pen & cookies & thanks. They didn't last long at all.

As for material - we are still without curtain rods & I don't think the room looks too bad without them. But you can take a look when you're here.

Paid Engel's bill -

Nancy Burns seems to be finding M.H.C. great.

Enclosing letter from C. [no longer in the envelope] Think[s] men's college is the greatest - if he can get in. As long as you're considering Wesleyan - how about Trinity? I always think of them in the same breath. Have you thrown Hobart out? Also - what is Haverford like? Possibly their rating is too high.

Be sure to bring the sleeping bag when you come - What seems like a fair price? $10 to[o] high?

I've been tremendously lucky as far as studying goes - Outside of many exposition papers - only one due this Tuesday. Blue Book in history the Wed. following show but otherwise nothing pressing.

2 minutes to lecture time. Henry Steele Commager, historian & on Amherst faculty. Should be good.

Love,
Liz

P.S. Write occasionally, will you?
