A Letter Written on Aug 1, 1956

8/1/56

Hi,

Recieved [sic] the package with the wash cloths and stationary [sic] and was glad to recieve [sic] them. Also got dad's letters.

Things are just about the same here as they always have been. Sunday afternoon three other boys and myself walk into Racquette Lake for the afternoon. We we[re] suspose sippo told to be back to by 6:00 for supper but didn't get back till 7:30 and for punishment we had to get up at 6:00 A.M. Monday morning and walk around the lake. This really wasn't a bad punishment because it was interesting. Don Zimmerman drove up to camp Sunday with his parents. They passed us on the road when we were walking to town but he wasn't sure if he recognized me so he didn't stop. Would find out his address and bring it up with you on Saturday when you come. Also would you please bring my good horn because I am getting sick of playing on this old horn. Please bring alot of eats. Cookies, (peanut butter, chocolate chip) candy, etc.

I guess thats [sic] all for now, I just got a post card from Liz and a letter from Dave saying he had made reservations in Ocean City. See you Sat.

Love,
Tom
