Tues. A.M.

Dear Mom & Dad,

Am enclosing a schedule of my classes. [no longer with the letter] I can get away at 11 on Friday, 18th as both my 19th cent novel and 18th cent lit classes are "cuttable" - that is, can be missed & made up to a certain extent. However, I would hate to cut music at 10.

By dint of some hard work this past weekend, as well as this week, I can get away without too much trouble. In fact, I'm also planning on this weekend at Lake George & don't think it will interfere with anything.

Florence Festival Orchestra had a concert on campus last night which brought Les up from Hartford. Very nice concert & "baby" music is bringing returns already.

Counted money like mad all last week but have News business under control for a while.

Am in the midst of speech-writing at the moment. One trouble - we can't use notes of any kind. Can't remember if I told you about my 1 hr. speech course. More of a chore than anything else but guess it will be good for me.

Looking forward to the trip to Norwich seeing you & Tom. Can arrange to leave here whenever you want. That will certainly be more pleasant than taking the bus.

Love,
Liz

P.S.
Where will we be staying at Norwich. I must sign out for a specific place. But you can tell me when you get here.
