A Letter Written on Mar 31, 1908

Hardwick Mass.
Mar. 31, '08.

Dear Miss Baker;

Please do not think this an April Fool letter for it isn't.

It is just a note to say that I arrived home all safe and sound, had a fine time in Sp'f'l'd etc.

Aunt Kate and Clifford got on the train at Gilbertville, so I didn't get off and come directly home as I partly intended, but had the pleasure of their company all the way to Sp'f'l'd.

I trust you did not find it tiresome waiting for your car.

I bought some rubbers in S- as soon as possible so of course the sun was shining in an incredibly short time. Hope I didn't quite finish your Aunt's rubbers.

Next Sat. A.M. I go back up on the 'Hill', and I hope you may find it convenient to write soon for reasons which I am sure you can imagine and appreciate.

Suppose you have seen or heard nothing of my class pin. I guess it has gone for good this time.

Please remember me to Mary also the other members of your family and accept lots of love and best wishes for yourself from

Your sincere friend
Olive F. Bliss.
