I have not forgotten that I was to write but the time has passed and I have not written letters to anyone there has been something all the time and meant to have seen you again you had visitors Monday and we had the same ones the next day and the next you left did you get your sewing all done - we have had a terrible fire I hope the shower today will quench it so we shall not see it again H.J. Write & Co have opened a Saloon on the corner where the Electrics meet I think it a shame & disgrace to the place I think before the year is up we will all think so Mother is gaining slowly goes out when it is pleasant & warm we had the rest of our coal yesterday so we have a fire today which is quite comfortable. I have not got my spring work done yet will have to. hustle now - The Wellington meet with Mrs. Kay tomorrow she & I have charge of it our subject is Art Mrs Kay is going to exhibit pictures from the different countries of the artist we give sketches of I have the French Art I am anticipating a pleasant afternoon I have not seen any of your family since you left but hope to soon my time is limited I hope you will write me all about the nice time you are having - accept with love from us both and write
