A Letter Written on Nov 19, 1903

Templeton, Nov. 19/03

Dear Lucy

Will write just a line to say that I have some of those large h'd'k'fs if you decide you want one. I also have that string bag that Cousin Mary Brooks sent me last Christmas I had a string box which I like very much better, so you can have the bag - I'll press it so it will look fresh. A girl that has to go to the dentist Thanksgiving vacation ought not to have to do fancy work.

Your Mother & Uncle went to H this morning and Mary and I are holding the fort alone. Both pokers will be in use to-night. I hated to have them to go H it is so cold. Hope they will not get sick.

I am talking some of going to Athol, and may go next Tuesday - better let us know what time you get there and if I'm there I wait and come home with you. Of course if it should be stormy I should not go and you would not get off there.

Have just come up with Mary. Don't think I'll sit up very late to-night - but expect Ill [sic] sleep over to-morrow morning.

With lots of love from
Aunt Carrie.
