A Letter Written on May 14, 1906

Dear Lucy

Thank you for your good letter and the enclosed money order and the expectations of more in June. It is so good to be hearing from the girls just now. I was quite surprised to find that I had any relatives in New Salem - I have tried to find it on the map, but can't. Where is it?

Is she going to Mount Holyoke? Is she a relative of my father or mother I wonder. I should be glad to hear from her.

I wish I could write longer but musten hasten

With very much love
