East Templeton.My dear Lucy,
I received this postal several days ago, but have just neglected to send it along, as I have heard nothing, suppose you still survive the trying ordeal in Mr. B's dining room, have been up to the Inn once since, with Mrs. Higley to see the new part, it is beautiful and the furnishings elegant (we are not intending to spend the Summer there.)
I saw your Mother and Carrie at the last meeting of the Wellington Club think they got home before it rained, we stayed the other side of Ladder Hill till the worst of the shower was over, that was the first time I ever got stalled.
Mother and Mattie are well as usual, was up there Wednesday. We are just having a nice shower hope it wont [sic] end in a rainy day, as I want to go to Gardner when I get a letter written to Warren & Nellie, am glad you will soon be coming home.
Your loving aunt
