[Some paragraph marks added for ease of reading.]Templeton, Mass.
March 1, 1907.Dear Sister:-
I will write just a few lines to let you know that we are still living in Templeton. Mama says to tell you that she didn't get over her cold so she finally had the doctor to-day. He thinks that it is just the grippe but that is enough. She thinks that she will feel like writing in a few days. Auntie has been telling that she was chief cook and bottle washer but the Doctor told me that I could run things and if I needed any help perhaps Auntie would assist me so I am crowing over her. Don't worry over Mama for I think that she is already a little on the gain[.]
Aunt Ada came up to the Wellington Club and stopped here for three quarters of an hour. She said that Uncle Warren's cold did not seem any better so I have got ahead of him for mine is a great deal better. Uncle is getting along all right. Auntie has taken a little more I think but not much. Of course she won't go to
theHartford for the present.Clara died Monday night. The funeral was Wednesday at one. Mr. Carpenter has stayed at the market right along but has to go back to-night. Eva and I went into the market this P.M. and Walter's sister and his baby were in there. The baby is just the dearest little thing. She is bright as a dollar and has red hair.
The installation was fine. I will tell you more about it Sunday. It made a hard day for Mr. Skerrye for there was a dinner at the chapel, then the funeral and then the installation. It seemed pretty hard for him to have to walk from a funeral to his own installation.
There is a show at the Chapel to-night - Mooing [sic] Pictures. Ruth and her mother, Nellie & I are going.
I must stop or this won't get in.
Don't worry.
With love,
From Molly.
