A Letter Written on Jul 15, 1906

Dear Lucy;

The $15.00 came as welcome addition to the sum of the A's and B's. I had just received 20.00 from Gladys Allen and a crowd of girls camping near New Haven and that makes $235.00 from the A's and B's. Isn't that splendid? But I am a greedy soul and am still looking for more. But please don't let my desires cover my appreciation of the efforts which you have each made individually. I can almost realize just what it means to each one of you and I tell I am proud of every penny!!!!

Did you know that Ethel Higgins is engaged? Also - You have probably heard how President Woolley's father died recently[.] It is too bad -

Please remember us all to the Ballards. I should like very much to meet them.

Here's to your success in your work and the Fellowship Fund -

Lovingly yours
Lottie R Lane
