Dear Lucy:-I received the letter and the handkerchief yesterday. Thank you ever so much for it. Auntie declares that her M's have wreaths around them. She went to Bosting to-day. I went to Miss Allen some time ago but have forgotten to write you what she said. She said that there was but one Classic German Dictionary. The publishers are:-
Hinds & Noble,
4 to 14 Cooper Institute
New York City.I had a snap yesterday forenoon
noon. We are supposed to have music the first thing but Mr. Abbott wanted to see the girls of the Junior Class so we had a study period. History came next and Miss Fairbanks talked over our tests with us and we didn't get around to recite. She marked my paper E For what you had done. The next period was Latin up in Room 14. It was terribly cold up there. There wasn't a mite of heat on and Mr. Osbourne told us that he would excuse us and gave us a little written work. I must close. With Love
Mary.P.S. This is not a letter, only a note so you won't have to answer it.
P.S. That handkerchief is the sweetest thing. I am afraid "some one" will swipe it.
