Nov. 9. 1903Dear Lucy
Yours received and it has been a time when there seems everything to be done Mary Masean [?] has just made us another visit and I visited all the time while she staid Aunt Augusta has been here she is going to stay with Aunt Mary Baker in Gardner I expect this winter if she does not change her mind I have attended two meetings of the Wellington Club - we have another at Mrs. Giffins H.P. Townsend will address us the last one was at H. J. Wright and Miss Elizabeth W. Lord told us of her trip to Mexico & H. I. it was very nice and entertaining[.] They are going away to spend the winter for her mother's health - I think the out door exercise a good thing for you all, think your room must be very pleasant would like to just step in for a minute or two occasionally the time is drawing near for your return for a short visit. I think you must have a good time with so many things to break up all the monotony of school work hope you will not try to do to[o] much take it just as easy as possible -
Mary has been down once I was out just met her as she was starting for home - I think your time pretty well filled up - We shall hope to see you when you come home, I must clean house some this week as I have not so much to do as sometimes I cleaned in the summer thorough and it it [sic] coming cold weather it will keep till spring I have some leaves to gather up when they all fall from the trees mother is quite nicely the evening is most spent must fix my fire and get ready to put out the lights. We put ours out a little before ten usually accept with love from us both and write when you can -
Your Aunt
