1882.Our Senior Class gave a reception to Fitchburg Seniors last Friday night. Some of the school boys with the town boys got to-gether and made all the noise they could outside the building. Then they went down on Cross Street and banged in a door. The consequences are that some of the boys are found out and Mr. Wood suspended Ora Barker and John Howard from school indefinitely. There probably will be some more suspended before long.
I looked up my averages for the first half year and find I stand thusly: Latin 96, History 94 Eng. Lit. 80, Algebra 94, Eng. Comp. 81, Drawing 68. There was a Class Meet at the G.H.S. yesterday and just think Gen won the three first prizes and four second.
Auntie asked if your white canvas belt is all right to wear with your gingham dress in case you should ever get your gingham dress[.]
The pump is fixed!!!! They put some new leather into it and it tastes awfully. They didn't have to dig up at all.
Auntie says that when you get your things look work worn you mustn't mind as she has had to
weatry them on and she thinks she ought to get a little wear out of them. If you don't like any of them you can send them to Auntie. She particularly likes the blue one and likes the white one pretty well. With love,
Mary.
