A Letter Written on Nov 25, 1906

Templeton, Mass
Nov. 25, 1906.

Dear Sister:-

Of course you won't expect much of a letter & I shouldn't want to disappoint you by writing a long one. I declare I don't know as there is anything to write about. Auntie & I went to church as usual. We had Mr. Skerry and he is just as nice as ever. I wish that you could hear him next Sunday but we are to have a supply until the Sunday before Christmas. Mr. Fred Stone read the letter Mr. Skerry wrote accepting the call, so we surely have him. For the last hymn he gave out "America" and Margaret & one of the twins sang away as fine as you please. Margaret sat with Mrs. Wright & she did look so cute singing. Several people come up from E. Templeton to church & there is a good number there.

I don't think I have done much this week. My cold has taken every turn possible from the nose bleed to a sore tongue. I believe it is the limit for getting up new ailments I have got a bottle of Fellow's Hypophosphites but I am afraid to take it now for it says that the first result which is seen is an increase in the appetite and I am eating all that Mama wants to cook now.

Mama says "Just tell her I that I saw her." She is going to Hubbardston with Cousin Moses to-morrow if it is pleasant & I hope it will be. She won't rest until the things are here. I made a short business call on Elsie Walker Rogers Thurs. She & her husband went to H- last Sun. & brought a load of things over.

Auntie & I went down to COusin Minnie's Fri. Gladys grows cuter & cuter. When we put our things on she began to fuss for she wanted to go with us. Just as soon as one of us took her she was all right. Cousin Minnie put her into short clothes Thurs., the day she was six months old. Russel had to tell us several time[s] that we put her in short clothes. She doesn't wear shoes yet but has on two pairs of stockings. Cousin Minnie said that she, Gladys, was surprised to see what big feet she had. Carl said that her feet were not very big only her stockings weren't on good.

Well, I guess this is enough of a letter for you won't have time to read much of one. Be sure you get home in time for the Union[.]

With love
Molly
