A Letter Written on Jun 3, 1906

Milford, N.H.
June 3, 1906.

My dear Lucy:

As it is my turn to write to you I thought I would write.

School has been going on about the same as usual. I do not like my teacher any better than before.

All of the schools went into the town hall Tuesday. Some of them took part and there were two men who spoke. We all went to the cemetary [sic] on Memorial Day.

We have been having quite a lot of thunder showers this summer. There was quite a hard one last night and it did quite a lot of damage. It has been a beautiful day to-day.

We like our new neighbors very much. There are two boys. One is seven and the other is four. They are over here quite a lot. They have a photograph and we go over there to hear it often.

We were invited to a party at Uncle Luther's Friday night. His son has been married twenty-five years. He and his wife are here visiting. We had a very nice time.

We have four little kittens. Two of them are gray and white, one is black and white and the other is all black.

As I do not know any more to write I will close your letter. I am

Ever your friend
Helen E. Fitch.
