A Letter Written on Apr 26, 1903

My dear Lucy:

Just a line to thank you for sending Alice Newton's address I have written her a note inviting her to come over some Sunday and I surely hope she can arrange to come for it is a long time since I have seen her, more than one year!

I am glad you are to hear Edward Everett Hale I am sure you will like him He is such a dear old man one cannot help but love him.

As this cold March weather has left us father felt able to accompany me to Church to day I was very glad for it is lonely to go alone We saw cousin Caroline & cousin Lizzie Matthews. We hope they come & see us some day. I like cousin Lizzie very much and would like to know her better.

Well Lucy, I hope the rest of the school year will go smoothly & that you will enjoy it "right well".

Once more thanking you for the address I am

Very lovingly yours
Elizabeth W Lord
