A Letter Written on Feb 12, 1907

Templeton, Mass.,
Feb. 12, 1907.

Dear Lucy:

This is my latest occupation. [Unlike Mary's usual handwritten letters, this one is typed.] As I am not very experienced yet please excuse all mistakes. Auntie came home yesterday. Her cold is much better but she still has enough. Ia am doing my best to have one but unless something happens, I guess it will not be a bad one.

The cars are all twist d [sic] up to-day. The wind blew so last night that the track is filled up with snow. Ted said this morning that the car he was on was the only one running. The Baldwinville girls got as far as East Templeton and then had to come back. Ibet [sic] they were sorry.

Carrie is down at Mrs. Burnham's, sick with the grippe. Miss Swan said this morning that she wouldn't be able to go back before Saturday if she was then. She came last Saturday. She is having a hard time this winter. Ithink. [sic] [a sentence typed on top of another sentence - the two sentences are something like "Edith was to have me [...] yesterday / I must stop as the ten minute bell has rung."]

Imust [sic] stop as the ten minute bell has rung.

With love,
Molly.
