Nov. 12, 1907Dear Miss Backer [sic]
I was very glad to get your letters have though[t] of you a great deal of late as since you lost your Mother I know what it is it is very hard & we can not see why it had to be it seems as if I could not have it that my mother is gone now some times[.]
I sent you a letter when I heard you had lost your mother did you get it I have had several letters that have been lost any way did not reach thear [sic] destanation [sic]
I am very glad that the little lily is doing so well no I do not put them in the celler [sic] let them grow all the time when you repot it let the bald rest of it come on top of the earth[.]
I went to Worcester Saterday [sic] & came home tuesday [sic] night I wanted to stay longer but Mrs Felton could not get along without me so back I came.
Cousin Minnie bearried [sic] her husband ten months ago she & her mother wanted very much to go right to her in Worcester but I could not leave to go but that I must go three weeks ago for a little[.] Will was not sick a week I am very sorry for her but she has her little boy Roger to think of as he has been sick since I came away is better now[.]
I am very glad you are better but be very careful of your self & keep so[.] Well sumer [sic] is gone & winter is all most hear [sic] it seems as if I had not had any sumer I had been so busy all the time it is 18 weeks to night since I came to Mr Feltons & 18 weeks Saterday night that she brock [sic] her wrist I did not think I should have to stay so long but will have to stay several weeks more I am very tired & would like a little rest I do not know what I shall do when I get through hear [sic] I have not made any vesits [sic] yet to any friends I go to Grange meetings went to Prescott & took the 5 fifth degree wanted to go to Springfield & take the sixth but did not feel able was most sick would like to go to Hartford to the meetings & take the degrees thare [sic] but dont think I will as thare is so much to do it is Ladies night at the Grange hear [sic] I shall be to[o] tired to go this week[.]
I have wanted to see you so much but could not see my way to come & see you but hope to see you some time[.]
I had some pictures taken when in W- I dont like them very well but did not have time to set again will send you one it will do to scare the rats[.]
Well they have all gone to bed so I will go to[o] now write soon & tell me all about your self how is your sister & aunt[.]
