January 3 - 1908Dear Lucy:
Thank you ever so much for the dear little bag you sent me. It is just as sweet as it can be. I shall always connect the love of the giver with it.
I was well remembered at Xmas time. Mamma and Auntie gave me a red silk petticoat, a net waist, a pair of gloves, and a corset cover. Papa gave me a postal card album with places for 500. It is pretty well filled now. From girls, I received a corset cover, a case for clippings, a handkerchief, two boxes of paper, a sachet etc.
I have had a pleasant though quiet vacation of two weeks. I have to go back next Sunday.
Thanking you again I am with much love,
Mary.
