A Letter written on Feb 27, 1919

Dear Mother Margaret,

A dear letter from Laura and the lovely picture of her which you probably have by this time too, came to-day and she said you are coming to New York to-day, which makes me very wistful because I'm going away tomorrow till Sunday night and I suppose by that time you'll be gone, so I wanted to send you my love before I went, dear because you'll be so near, so near. Laura said "see Margaret for me", but I had already promised to go away this week and it's sort of something I can't break but I'm going to call you up before I go so I can at least hear your voice.

Remember me to my big brother Walter and love the baby for me. I expect to go home two weeks from tomorrow and I'm going up to see you and Mrs. Hunt, so don't you be gone, will you?

And here's [?] a big, big kiss for you from

your child
Anita.
