A Letter written on Dec 23, 1915

Westfield Dec 23d /15

My dear Mr Allen

Your letter with its enclosed check for $36.00 was recieved [sic] yesterday I acknowledge it with thanks.

Your personal words of appreciation and expression of regret that I had thought it best to discontinue my ministrations in the Chapel were very kind.

My connection with the chapel worship has been very pleasant and I hope has been of some profit. Be assured I shall miss greatly the friendships formed by these years of connection.

Do not for a moment suppose I have lost interest in Wyben [?] and its cordial people.

May the Christmas joy be yours.

Sincerely
A. H. Ball [Albert Horton Ball, Margaret's father]

[Margaret's brother Allan married a woman named Vergie Allen, and this man Samuel Augustus Allen is her father.]
