A Letter Written on Apr 18, 1929

Thursday A.M.

My Dear Howard

rec'd your letter and check and we thank you very much no mother dident [sic] think you had forgotten her I know what the expence [sic] of moving is very well and you had to buy a stove and other things the expence of keeping house never stops but after you get things they will last a long time and it wont [sic] be so much in the furnishing line and now you must be happy and take lots of comfort you musent [sic] forget you have lots to be thankfull [sic] for you have a dear good wife and such a darling little girl I love them as if they were my own and you must be good to them which I know you mean to be. its [sic] been such awfull [sic] weather The sun is out today but the wind blows and its [sic] not very warm soon as it is so we can let the fire out you will see us we cant stand not seeing you all much longer got a letter from Lizzie and Hattie this week
