995 North Avenue
New Rochelle, N. Y.Wednesday
Dear Marion,
I received your letter yesterday and I thought I'd better write to you now, as there seems to be a change of plans. I won't be able to take the 1:30 train, because Dot wrote to me and wants me to take the 9:10 A.M. train. This train arrives at Hartford at 11:54, and it gets to Springfield at 12:35 and at Holyoke at 1:09. You see Dot wants me to meet her and some other girls at Springfield, so that we can go to the circus, so I'd get off at Springfield. Do you think you can make this train? Did Junie mention in any of her letters to you about going to the circus that afternoon? Dot mentioned that June would probably go to the circus then. I do hope that you can make the 9:10, Marion, even if it means skipping work for one day. You probably could make it up some other time. If you can make it, try and get on the front car and walk through as I'll probably be somewhere in the middle.
I'll close for now, Marion, as I want to get this letter off in the noon mail. I'll tell you the latest news when I see you. I sure hope I'll see you on the train Friday. If you think I'll get an answer from you by Friday, answer this letter and let me know. If not, I'll just hope I see you.
Love,
Carol
