Dear Exits,

You will have a short letter this time I fear if it gets off in the nine o'clock mail. We are waiting for breakfast. Havent decided what the days work is yet. Either to go to Springfield or have my teeth fixed. I am as bad as the [...] in getting around to that work. Havent had a pair of new gloves for so long that my old ones look pretty bad. You forgot my [...] and silk didnt you. It looks as though we might have some more snow. You seem to have all you want perhaps it will rain.

The seniors and freshmen went on their sleigh rides last night, got here about half past ten. Freshmen tipped over twice and sprained an ankle. The Sophomores and Juniors are going today I believe. As to New York Chas wrote that Exeter people didnt seem to have any question about my going. The work will not be play very likely and I cant seem to find out just what is wanted[.] Guess Charles wants an assistant in looking out for things[.]

I only wish Agnes Bemis felt like cooking. Miss R. spoke about liking to be one of the waiters. Guess probably they will come from the Heights. Havent said yet that I would go but they say it is decided.

Juniors entertained the Sophs last night, played them a play, Six to One. Guess I dont know much this morning. Didnt get to sleep very early on account of the sleighers. Guess I shall have to get my gloves as I should do anything here.

Good Bye -

S. A. B.
