Dear Exits,
You are beginning to wonder where your letter is, but you know I warned you that they might not get along on time for a week or so. Now I must arrange schedules for an hour or so. Susan and I have been in Northampton today through the Smith Physics and Chemistry laboratories and on a flying trip through their plant house. Here it is Thursday A.M. I got the first (draft) of schedules copied at about ten thirty last evening. now there is several hours work still to be done. Miss Keith meets the two divisions together today so I dont have to prepare for class[.] She has half of course I and I have the other half and the two meet together on Thursdays[.] Some advantages and some disadvantages.
How can I tell you what I am to do next year as long as it isn't settled. Guess I will teach if just the right position turns up otherwise may go to Cornell or Ann Arbor.
Some of you disengaged persons might look up properly in Palmer and see if there is any thing on deck. You might write to your friends there or send up a delegate.
As to not hving time in Hartford, you coud surely have as much time as you would have if you went the other way. There is a concert the 6th of Feb. on the 21st is our glee club the next day is W.B. and the next the Hampton Institute quartet then you could stay over Sunday[.] You need not get up there before ten in the evening and I could meet you in Holyoke if you were not sure of the line or if you were.
If you hear of any good vacancies you might mention them. Is that Physics teacher to stay in Converse College. If not and the work isn't too advanced, I might apply there.
Most people wear everyday cap like the ill[ustrated] fuzzy grey or striped in colors or white fuzzy want one? [three sketches of hats in the margin of the letter]
Good Bye
