Dear Exits

It is going on bed time. Something every evening so far this week - Time [?] is rushing - My work doesnt [sic] seem to rush very fast. Guess I shall have to get after it pretty soon. Emma Keith is the best scholar in our class and Robin is next best. Guess there isn't much difference. Jennie Carpenter says she wants her mother to come at commencement next year and would rather have her come earlier this year. I have reasoned with her a number of times this year but she won't be convinced. You would make out better by applying at headquarters. It is warm again. Had strawberries for supper - when I pay for my pictures and invitations and stamps I shall have about seven dollars left. Alice will have to have some shoes so that will leave me five in round numbers. Don't know of anything else to buy but will probably have some odds & ends. So you need not send any money yet. If you don't come here you will have to go to Boston for a day or so. Good night -
