A Letter Written on Jun 1, 1921

Dear Doctor Clapp,

I've kept on writing letters and I shall not go to Boston till tomorrow morning. The Transcript article was in time last night and Miss Palmer took it. I don't think that she felt that I had done justice to my subject but then I feel as the artist does who tries to paint a sunset.

I neglected to ask you about the number at the dinner. At least I didn't find out whether you expected the "extras" to come. We would like to have them only want to know before hand if possible. Will you please drop Elizabeth a card when you find one. There is no hurry, of course.

You made what I consider a good haul today. I guess my ideas are getting humbled!

Good luck and love to you always! My it was so good to have you around. Come again soon. We want you and we need you.

Ann.
