My dear Abby,

I wish you could have taken the auto ride with us this lovely Easter Sunday afternoon. We were invited to visit our new possessions with some neighbors who have similar interests in Belmont Heights - 2 1/2 miles out from the center of Mount Dora. We brought home about a doz of our grape fruit. We have 15 trees, you may know, on the two lots!

Your Easter card came yesterday. I never get mine started, altho plan every year to do better, and think early enough about it -

For the past week I have had quite a new task - I have been collecting the $2.00 from the guarantors, as our forum lectures came to an end last Monday night & the rain kept the big audience which we had counted on from coming & so with a little more expense than usual we had to call on our guarantors to help us out of a hole!

I walk, you know, and therefore am able to follow up the scattered folks whose names we have enrolled as standing behind any deficit we may have.

Yes, our Forum season is over, and a most satisfactory season it has been. I am rounding up the contributions to the N.E.R. & sending the clothing off -

Monday morn. Have just been asked to go for the forenoon to look after on someone who is in my Bible Class who fell & perhaps broke her leg, so I do not stop to finish this but send it as - so -

Yours as ever
C. M. Clapp
