April 22d" 1921.My dear Emma,
Dell Kendall tells me that you may have the Class-Letter, or at least may know where it is. If it has passed you, please forward this note to the one who may have it.
There are two papers in the Class Letter, which I would ask to have returned to me, before the C.L. is sent on to the next member. - 1st the article which is a resumé of "what the Class of '71 did in connection with the War." and 2d - my own personal letter of an earlier date, which I fear is still in the Budget. - (i.e. if there are two letters of mine in the Budget, please return me the earlier one.)
whichProbably you received a request from the Publicity Secretary, regarding personal data for an article for the "Boston Transcript." Probably you dislike to comply with it, as I do! - What would you think of just sending to the Secretary this article about '71's war-work? - We would not mind publishing the fact that we did our part, like other women, in the war-years; and it saves us from any need of writing our autobiographies, - or sending our pictures or anything! - At least I hope the Secretary would be satisfied with that! -
Thanking you, beforehand, for sending me these two articles from the Budget, and hoping to see you in June, -
Yours sincerely
Hettie Dodd Carter
