Dear Mamma:-

Here is a note from Dr. Richardson. I thought I could tell that she was the kind of woman we should like! But I want you to see her before any bargain is concluded. Mrs. Johnson says she has heard from the ladies across the street that Miss Dean thinks she would be willing to go - is in fact rather looking forward to it, tho of course no final settlement was made. I told her I wanted you to see her first.

I am as far as the south station and haven't yet begun to remember the things I have omitted! But I shall pretty soon. Things went in very well. I had just about enough room for everything. But I tell you I was glad I didn't have the steamer rug or your cape. Your cape and my winter coats took up so much room that I had to sit very hard on that trunk! I've arranged for a place to hang up those things in their bags, so I'll have a plenty of room when I bring that trunk back - room for the extra things at Nashua easily. I left a trunk & suitcase ready to be expressed to Cambridge when I come back, and Mrs. Pingree is going to put in my clothes that come back from the washerwoman, so I'll not have to go out for anything. My baggage I had taken down to the Jam. station this morning and went down with Nell's mileage and had it check through, so that ought to be all right. It's about time to find out what track the train goes out on. It is always a full train, so I came in to this station instead of Back Bay.

I've arrived all right, and found Elizabeth, Miss Smith & Miss Purington. Everything lovely -

Love to you,
Abby

Elizabeth sends her love -
