Dear Mamma:-I was glad to get your card and letter and to know that you are all right. It has been fine weather ever since the day I left South Hadley and today is all right too.
The meetings are extremely interesting and I am surprised to
knowfind how many I know. Some whom I haven't seen since the year I studied here have appeared. The papers and discussions have been very profitable. We had a fine time yesterday at the Mt. H- luncheon. There were about forty there and I knew many of them. We're going to stay over until Friday unless we change our minds so as to go to see my classmate Florence Yarnall. Don't expect me until late Friday night. Nobody knows when I'll get here again!
Don't worry about my getting rested. There isn't anything evenings and we've been in bed both nights and asleep before ten o'clock. The cars go right by, but it doesn't disturb us at all!
I must stop now as I'm late for the meeting. I shall not write again.
Much love to you -
AbbyWed. morning
