Cleveland, O.
Jan. 1" 1905=Dear Aunt Emma:
I will write just a few words to tell you that Mother is very sick with Bronchial Pneumonia= she was real feeble all last week but kept up every day but this afternoon she was take[n] worse very suddenly and had a chill - Dr has been here twice since two o'clock, it is now about seven. He thinks it looks very serious. Of course there is a chance for her but she is so frail that it makes us tremble.= Emma's arm is still in splints and Eloise was very sick all night. Dr. says it is the grip.=
I will let you know just how Mother is getting along. Will try and send a card every morning.= We hope for the best but cannot tell.
With lots of love from us all to you all Jessee
