A Letter Written around Jan 23, 1906

My dear Mrs. Turner.

A good man is at rest. For his sake rejoice. When your work is finished what a happy reunion there will be for you. Husband, father, mother, sister and the many dear ones who belong to you in that house of many mansions.

Father, Carrie and I, send to you and your daughter our sympathy for the lonly [sic] hours when the pain is too deep for words of comfort to reach.

I congratulate you on having a daughter. As she turned to mother for comfort and help in her younger days, so may you turn to and receive from her the help and love that your heart needs.

Yours with love and sympathy,
Addie C. Walker.

[Mrs. Turner did correspond with her Seminary teacher Adelia C. Walker many decades earlier, but the handwriting and details we know about Adelia do not seem to match Addie's letter.]
