A Letter Written around Jun 4, 1919

Dearest,

Just an awful hasty note before my last exam. No, I've not yet heard from my "friend" prof. The xam [sic] was simply terrific and it will be only luck that put me thru if I got thru at all.

However, I'm hoping, hoping, hoping to "commence" on the 11th. Bub dear, I've sent invitations to no one but the mother & kid but am sending announcements later - That is, if I commence.

I do wish you all luck in your xams [sic] and hope you can "go over the top."

Now, Dear, about Princeton! I want to go the worst way if arrangements are really made with Ken. However, first I should like to know when I would go down & when [I] come back because you see I expected to go right up to the lake from here.

You let me know, however, how long I would be at P. and then I'll try to arrange it. Here's hoping!

Well dear, I must run -

All my love,
Fran.
