Friday Afternoon

[no salutation, but written to Pat Feiser]

I guess you're getting all ready for the big time over the week-end and it even looks like you might have snow. Just so the roads aren't too bad that Don wouldn't get over. Does he stay over there for the whole week-end or does he go back every night. Let us know how the week-end turns out. It snowed here a little last night but has turned to rain now, it might freeze until evening.

I fooled around with Ceramics Tues. night and Daddy got his new safe lamp and he was trying that out although he didn't print any pictures.

Wednesday night we went to a Fashion, Bridge party that is - Peg, Jane, Eleanor and - myself, the Young Women's Club was sponsoring it. I twisted Eleanor's arm to go, Mary was supposed to go but as usual at the last minute she got sick. Eleanor won the prize, she may not know how to play real well, but she sure gets nice cards. The fashion show was very nice. It was done by Bears.

Thursday night I went to our 19M31 class meeting and the store. I guess Dad watched television[.]

I found a new mug that is sort of cute and I might make you some for school, what color or colors would you want them? Yellow, red, fuschia, blue, black, orange, & what have you.

Everyone is okay here and I hope you have a nice time this week-end. Today is Grandma's birthday and I hope you sent her a card.

Love,
Mother.
