Dear Patty
Will write a few lines I am over to Kling baby sitting. I am off to-morrow our first Monday off and I want to sew and make you a white skirt and fix my suit and some other thing[s] & make mother some sugar cake for Tuesday night as she is having a mother & daughter banquet so I will go in your place[.] Sellman & Lurlie where [sic] up to-day we took a little ride around the country it being to look pretty the peach & apple blossoms are over they where [sic] when it was raing [sic] I hope it did not wash the blossoms off. I guess it [is] starting to warm up, up their [sic] too. Last week we had some pretty chilly days. We are still very busy it seams [sic] as if every body want[s] their cloths [sic] know. [sic] Hope we will soon get caught up. I guess you are very busy getting ready for this week['s] performance. You want to take care of yourself and dont [sic] get sick again by over working. do [sic] you like your new Dorm for next year. Dr. Hutchen said the Owens were going to Smith College this week for fathers [sic] day. He said Sally don't have any think [sic] like that. He trys [sic] to keep up to date with all the College girl[s] He [sic] knows[.]
He seams [sic] to be very interested in them all when we go he talk[s] all about the different girls. Well I guess I have told you all so I guess I have to say good by and may God bless you[.]
