Dear Pat,
And here's your little gossiper! First off, living up these education courses is killing me. They all are given at the same time. Just take that history of Pa.; Ed. Psychology; and Intro to teaching - 9 credits. So all summer long for 12 weeks, I'll be rising with the birdies walking Tor, making breakfast and getting to Millersville by 8 AM. Stay until 11:30 and drive home exhausted.
I saw Bob McC at the trail last night but he didn't see me. He was with a gang of boys. Susie Dietz was there with some creep. And Janie Frey with Lou Zortman - that's Diz Tubbs husband. Methinks she has a baby due soon. And Bunny Ness don't [sic] know Carl May no more which should make Janie happy. And Leonard is real friendly with Stella and Cole's still learning to speak German as maybe by now, he's already learned. So here I sit knitting madly away on 2 different pairs of argyles and concentrating on planning someone elses [sic] destruction (thats [sic] all. to my college group) How far are you on the argyles?
Sorry about Janies [sic] ankle glad for her about her job. I'll miss her tho' - what about your job?
Right now, I'm busy with tennis and sunburn - yep I got some! And Tobys [sic] polio shots and summer camp - and deans of various and sundry schools along with Albolm (thats [sic] the present Ferguson) and Brown and Orendorff and Millersville and Harrisburg. Sometime I wonder if its [sic] worth it. But then, I remember the poor children that never had me as a teacher and ever onward I struggle.
I haven't forgotten about the bow - just haven't had time yet, to price it or figure it out. Then I'm planning this covered dish social recreation for Madison P.T.A. May 8 so I'm happy - oh, so deliriously happy!
Saw 'The Swan' - O. Kay. Liked 'Guys and Dolls'. No other new ones here now or since.
I'll be home every nite this summer studying - so if you're looking for further education and misery - here I'll be waiting. Just imagine what my logic will be like after that psychology course!
