A Letter Written on May 13, 1957

Monday

Dear Pat:

We arrived home safe and sound around 6;30. We left Hartford around 10. We had rain until almost N. Yl [sic] and then it stopped and cleared and the rest fo [sic] the way was fine. It also warmed up quite a bit.

Thanks for a nice week-end and you know what. I forgot to give you some money. I hope you won't run short. I'll send you $5.00 now with this letter. [no longer with the letter] Dad will send you for your expense sheet. I also forgot to give you some stamps I had along, will also enclose them.

I've been very busy today, so I'll have to close. Just thought I'd let you know we got home okay.

And oh yes, Kim was sure glad to see us.

Love,
Mother

Sorry I don't have stamps with me will send them later. Changed pocketbooks and forgot to put them in.
