Dear Patty:-

Will write you a fue [sic] lines I don't know if you will get it or not before you leave for New York[.] But I want to tell you to be very carfull their dont [sic] go out by your self at night.

Well I will be looking for you and Don, hope every thing will work out alright think well and be carefull [sic]

Sorry you wont [sic] get hear [sic] any sooner. Glad you[r] friend enjoyed the cake and sorry you an[d] Judy did not get much. Will try and make one for you when you get home[.]

Mother & Dad where hear [sic] for dinner to day I hope it does not snow for you it says it [is] to snow to-morrow. But maby [sic] it wont. [sic] Well I dont [sic] know what else to say[.] So I say Good night and May God bless you So be carefull [sic] Patty[.] Will be praying for you
