Dear Cousin,
Well, I think that you would agree that college is a little bit different than high school by now. You asked whether I was snowed under with work too. That is an understatement. For Example; I have a term paper due in three weeks. Do I have a topic yet? Nope! Well I guess we will live through it somehow. I am not majoring in music education but instead in general education. I am still taking private 'cello lessons, however, so I have not given up music completely. I am taking Speech (English), Social Studies, Science, Art (Oh boy), Music theory, psychology, and Gym. I like all my teachers and I think that they are all quite competent. This college is quite small but it has fairly high standards. It is not simply a normal school but part of the State University of New York which means that we get a liberal education as well as a normal school education. We are on a new campus. I am living in the new residence hall where there are two people in each room. The rooms are swell and they have plenty of closet space.
I believe that the pianist you mentioned was at Chautauqua, but I have not read any of Vierick's poetry[.] Well I must sign off as a [sic] have a wicked test coming up tomorrow that I must study for. Please write me when you have a chance.
Love,
Ann
