Thur. eve.
Dear Patty
Will write you a few lines before going to the store So I can mail it. Well I was to another Sitters supper last night to Lincon [sic] woods. Was very nice had turkey and all the trimmens [sic] but not as good as the Dutch club. I want to make you some cakes this week So mother can send then [sic] to you. Now Patty I think you should change your rutean [sic] and go to bed and get up in the morning and do your work then your mind is more clear and you may get along better[.] It would not hurt to try for a while. and then you would not have to depend on someone to get you up. I am sure it would work out if you try. I am very busy at the store working and I like it very much. Deby [sic] has the mumps. She has them very bad. It is very cold hear. [sic] I got a new coat, hat, and two dresses. So I guess I am fix[ed] for a while. Would like to get you one if you would like to have one. When you come home. Well I guess Dad & Mother will soon be hear [sic] to go to the store. So I will have to come to a close for this time So good-by and God bless you
