A Letter Written on Nov 17, 1954

Wed morning

Dear Patty,

I am writing to you before I go to work I am sorry I told you I was going to make some cakes, but mother said I should not make any more till you come home so I did not, but their [sic] will be some when you get home I am sure[.] Well how are thing[s] going by this time. I hope better and you make out all right I am praying for you. So dont [sic] get discourage[d] for their [sic] is alway[s] a way out if you ask for help. I am looking forward of you coming home next week. am anxious to see you. I am finishing this at work. Miss Halick was in the store a week or two ago and I was talking to her and she said she got a nice letter from you. Mother said she wrote to you last even. So I guess you will get hers before you get mine. It is very fogy [sic] hear [sic] this morning can't see far ahead. Hope it let[s] up before eve. Well I guess I want [sic] get to write any more till I see you so take care of yourself and May God bless you
