A Letter Written on May 27, 1959

Wednesday morning

Dear Patty

Well I hope you will soon be home. I guess this will be my last letter out their [sic] for awhile. Hope you are getting ready to come Mother has not been feeling so very good, so I hope you can spend a little while with her before you go away. She was at the Dr. last night and he said it was her nerves she can't sleep at night. Some times they get the best of you[.] So you be carefull [sic] and dont [sic] over do your self for you are young and can do it so quick I think she was worried about her heart. You know Paul Rhodes is in the hospital with a very bad heart condision. [sic] know [sic] dont [sic] pack your car so full get a trailer you know you cant [sic] go as fast with one of those on but it [is] better than loading your car so full and it take[s] a little more gas too but in all I think it pays did you get your apartment yet don't put off every think [sic] till the last minet. [sic] Of course you know what to do. I am just tell [sic] you a little. It bin [sic] warm and cool hear [sic] we went down to Sellman and he got us fans one of [sic] Dad and one for me have not got them up yet. Well I say good by and may God bless you.
