Tues.
Dear Pat:
Well I guessby [sic] this time you're all settled and ready for your next semester. I'm glad you had a good time in N. Y. I was worrying about you catching cold and here I went and caught another one myself. I don't know where I picked up the last two and about only three weeks apart.
Your box is going to be a day late, as Dad carried it around in the car all day yesterday and forgot to mail it, I hope he mailed it today, as it has a cake in it and the soonerarrived [sic] the sooner gone, eh what. I also send a few other things along too, don't throw away the envelop[e] with stamps in it. Also sent you a sample of the new copper jewelry I'm making, see how you like it.
Aunt Bertie wants to know what you want for your birthday.
We've been doing the usual things, club, store, etc. Grandma Feiser was out again all day Sunday, for dinner and the rest of the day. I won again Sat. night. We have club at home this week.
Eleanor andI [sic] didn't get together last Thurs. to work on copper as Rick came home unexpecte[d]ly, he had just finished his exams too.
By the way how did you make out in yours. Do you think you passed? When do your reports [sic] cards come out.
Tomorrow sales day starts, so I'm pretty busy at the office today, so I guess I'll sign off, as I don't have anything special to say, except take care of yourself and keep your feet dry. Everyone okay here, have fun,
Love,
Mother
