Dear Pat,

Call me right away if your skin bruise amounts to anything. I must report it in my claim against the insurance company.

We are sending your laundry kit today and dress, in a separate package. Putting in some of the prints and the flash cord.

Love Dad

The dress is from Grandma. She thinks you can wear it in the play. If it is too long you can bring it along home to have it shortened. I hope it fits otherwise. Don't If you try to fix it yourself don't cut anything off.

We've been having regular winter weather, so I guess we won't take a chance to come up for the play. Lots and lots of luck. The cake in the laundry kit is to celebrate the play[.] I hope you get these things in time.

Love
Mother.
